The Klingon Heavy Barge is intended to carry double the loads of its sister barges.

Desrived from Fast Barge, the Heavy Barge has four pod attachment points.

Normally, due to its ponderously slow speed at both Impulse and Warp, the Heavy Barge is only found on short distance runs betwenn close proximity star systems and facilities.

Maximum speed, when unlaiden, is Warp 4.8, with Warp 4.5 cruising speed. However the speed drops to Warp 4 (64c) with one pod, Warp 3 (27c) with two pods, Warp 2.5 (15c) with three pods and Warp 2 (8c) with four pods attached.
 
Usually operated by owner captains. A few are operated by some Lyran clans for similar commercial roles.

Not known to be operated by the Klingon millitary due to its unsuitable low speed.

Steps to install
----------------

1.  Open your SFCSPC13.TXT file with NOTEPAD.
2.  Pick any Klingon ship in the Klingon listing and copy that line twice.
3.  Pick in the place in the Klingon Freighters list where you want the ships to exist.
4.  Paste the copied ships line here.
5.  Change the copied ships line's name to K-HBRG and two K-HBRG & Pod variants.
6.  Save and exit NOTEPAD.
7.  Open SHIP EDIT for SFC 1 and load the SFCSPC13.TXT file.
8.  Scroll down the Klingon ship types until you find the K-HBRG and two K-HBRG & Pod variants.
9.  Go to the COMMENTS section and import the K-HBRG and two K-HBRG & Pod variants SPEC FILES from the model folder.
10. Check that the entry points to the correct folders for the model in your own computer's directory system, as mine is probally different.
11. Save and exit SHIP EDIT.
12. Start up SFC 1 and enjoy. 
   
NOTE: You must have at least one stock SFC game ship in human player squadrons to use this ship in multiplayer games. However, AI player squadrons are not bound by this restiction/problem and can have all three ships as K-HBRG if desired. 

This ship has been put under the Klingon F for Freighters part of the SFBSPC13.TXT, so that it can be called up for use in scripts using the FMSE (Fleet Model Script Editor) software add on by Eagle Eye Software. If you want to actually be able to select this ship, in normal SFC select ships, you will have to move it into the FF, CL, CA or DN part of the listing.
